Spring is coming.

Oh, thank God.

Everything has been gray and icy in the northeast and then today it was suddenly 60 degrees and the snow started to melt.

On this beautiful sunny day, I went to the botanical gardens to see the spring bulb show at Smith College. The smell was heavenly — hyacinth and daffodils and jasmine. I made a quick painting when I stopped for a minute to sit.
